The TDHC after-party has become a larger and larger part of the event through the years, and we've had some fantastic musical acts help us wrap the event up in style! Here's a rundown of some of the bands and musicians who've made the after-party something special in recent years:
The Hustle (2009)
The Hustle is a refreshing new style of Hip-Hop that blends an authentic rock sound with a modern soulful edge. The band is fronted by MC Kuf Knotz and singer La Ru. Together they create a harmonious hybrid of sound. The band's "The 4,5,6 EP" is available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.

Chris Kasper (2009)
Chris Kasper, who has shared festival bills with the likes of Bela Fleck and Keller Williams and toured with Amos Lee, is an award-winning singer/songwriter who also plays with the original bluegrass band The Lowlands. He released Chasing Another Sundown in 2009, his first fully-produced studio album, featuring contributions from many of Philly's finest musicians including Devon Sproule, Ben Arnold, and more. Additionally, his 2006 release Flying Boy has received critical acclaim and may be purchased on Amazon, iTunes, and most other online music vendors.

Jeremy Hollis (2009, 2008, 2007, 2006)
Jeremy Hollis is no stranger to the TDHC after-party, having performed for it in one capacity or another in each of its four years of existence. He's a mainstay of the Philadelphia music scene, playing his Philly-centric songs regularly at such venues as the Dawson Street Pub, The World Cafe, the Tin Angel, and more. It wouldn't be an after-party without Hollis, and we've been honored to have him on board since the very beginning!

Dan Rendine (2008)
Dan Rendine is a remarkable Philly-based singer-songwriter whose talents were on display at the prestigious Bethlehem Musikfest in 2008 and 2009. Rendine, who also used to front the funk/blues/rock band Catfish Soup, can be found playing at venues throughout the area.

Smiles, Everyone (formerly, Drink the Long Draught) (2008)
An artist, a scientist, a writer, and a miscreant merge to form an original sound, danceably pop without losing the rough edge of indy-rock. At times high in energy while also exploring a more soulful side, the quartet's 80's influence is present yet subtle as they pull from various musical genres to create original music that remains relevent as they tread wisely over cliches.
